Early in the morning, while everyone in the house was still sleepy, monkey Zika was already awake and full of energy. Today was a special day because Chef Zika had decided to surprise the whole family with a delicious homemade breakfast. But instead of cooking noodles or fried eggs like usual, Zika wanted to try something different — roasted pumpkin!
Zika carefully walked into the kitchen wearing a tiny chef hat that made everyone laugh. He looked very serious as he searched for the biggest pumpkin in the basket. After choosing the perfect one, Zika proudly carried it to the table and began preparing his special breakfast recipe.
First, Zika washed the pumpkin carefully with clean water. Then, with Dad’s help, he cut the pumpkin into small slices. The bright orange color looked beautiful under the morning sunlight. Zika happily arranged the pumpkin pieces on a tray and added a little honey and butter on top to make them extra tasty.
While waiting for the pumpkin to roast, Zika stayed beside the oven like a real professional chef. Every few minutes, he peeked through the oven door excitedly. Soon, the delicious smell of roasted pumpkin filled the entire house. One by one, the family members woke up and followed the wonderful smell to the kitchen.
“WOW! What are you cooking?” Mom asked with surprise.
Zika clapped his hands proudly and pointed at the oven. When the roasted pumpkin was finally ready, it looked golden, soft, and absolutely delicious. Zika carefully placed the pumpkin slices onto plates and decorated them with tiny banana pieces to make breakfast look even more special.
Everyone gathered around the table and tasted Chef Zika’s creation. The pumpkin was sweet, warm, and very soft. Even little puppy Kun wanted a small bite after smelling the tasty breakfast.
Dad smiled proudly and said, “Chef Zika is becoming an amazing cook!”
Hearing those words made Zika extremely happy. He jumped around the kitchen with excitement while everyone laughed loudly.
