Wow! Lily Is Excited When Dad Teaches Her to Color

It was a calm afternoon, and Lily sat quietly by the window, watching the sunlight dance across the floor. She looked a little bored, holding a blank sheet of paper in her tiny hands. “What should I do?” she murmured.

Just then, her dad walked in with a warm smile and a small box in his hands. “Lily, do you want to try something fun?” he asked.

Lily’s eyes lit up. “Yes, Dad! What is it?”

Dad opened the box to reveal colorful crayons—bright red, sunny yellow, deep blue, and many more. “Today, I’m going to teach you how to color,” he said gently.

“Wow!” Lily clapped her hands excitedly. She had always loved looking at colorful pictures, but she had never really tried coloring by herself.

Dad placed the paper on the table and drew a simple picture of a big tree with a smiling sun. “Let’s start with this,” he said. “Coloring is easy, but you have to be patient.”

Lily quickly grabbed a red crayon and began scribbling fast across the page. “Look, Dad!” she said proudly.

Dad chuckled softly. “That’s a good start, but try to slow down a little. Stay inside the lines and choose colors that match the picture.”

Lily nodded seriously. This time, she picked a green crayon for the leaves. She moved her hand more carefully, filling in the spaces little by little. “Like this?” she asked.

“Exactly!” Dad smiled. “You’re doing great.”

As the minutes passed, Lily became more focused. She colored the sun yellow, the trunk brown, and even added blue for the sky. Her excitement grew with every stroke. “This is so fun!” she giggled.

When she finally finished, she held up her drawing proudly. “Dad, look!”

Dad’s eyes shone with pride. “Wow, Lily! That’s beautiful. You did an amazing job.”

Lily beamed with happiness. Not only had she created something colorful and bright, but she had also learned something new with her dad by her side.

From that day on, coloring became Lily’s favorite activity—and every drawing reminded her of that special afternoon filled with joy, learning, and love.
