It started as a perfectly normal morning at home. Mom was busy cleaning and organizing the house while little Abu followed her everywhere, curious about everything she was doing.
When Mom walked into the bathroom, Abu quickly followed behind.
“Abu, wait outside for a moment,” Mom said gently.
But Abu had other ideas!
He slipped inside before Mom could close the door and immediately began looking around. The bathroom was full of interesting things: towels, bottles, a small bucket, and a shiny mirror. Abu stared at his reflection and began making silly faces.
Mom tried not to laugh.
“Abu, don’t touch anything,” she warned.
But the mischievous little monkey had already spotted the toilet paper.
Before Mom could stop him, Abu grabbed the roll and started pulling.
Round and round it went!
A long trail of toilet paper quickly stretched across the bathroom floor. Abu became more excited with every pull, while Mom watched in complete surprise.
“Abu!” she called.
Abu froze.
For one second, he looked completely innocent. Then he tried to hide the toilet paper behind his back—but there was far too much of it!
Mom burst out laughing.
Abu decided the best solution was to escape. He turned around and ran toward the door, but his foot accidentally became tangled in the toilet paper.
Whoosh!
He slipped and landed safely on his bottom with a shocked expression.
For a moment, the room was completely silent.
Then Abu looked at Mom.
Mom looked at Abu.
And suddenly, they both started laughing!
Mom helped Abu stand up and carefully untangled the toilet paper from his feet. But the funny adventure wasn’t over yet. When Abu looked in the mirror, he noticed a tiny piece of toilet paper stuck to his head.
He stared at his reflection in confusion.
Mom laughed even harder.
Abu reached up, felt the paper, and quickly pulled it off. Then, as if nothing had happened, he proudly placed his hands on his hips.
Mom smiled and gave him a warm hug.
“You certainly know how to make cleaning time interesting,” she said.
Together, they cleaned up the bathroom and rolled up the scattered paper. Abu even tried to help, although he occasionally got distracted and made Mom laugh again.
By the end of the morning, the bathroom was clean, but Mom and Abu had gained something even better—a hilarious memory they would never forget.
