Zika and Uncle Rode Their Bikes to the Garden to Pick Green Beans—So Fun!

The morning sun had just begun to warm the village when baby monkey Zika rushed outside, her eyes sparkling with excitement. Today was special—her uncle had promised to take her to the garden to pick fresh green beans.

“Are you ready, Zika?” Uncle called, holding two small bicycles.

“Yes! Let’s go!” she cheered, hopping onto her bike.

They pedaled down the dusty path, the cool breeze brushing against their faces. Birds chirped above, and butterflies danced along the roadside. Zika laughed as she tried to keep up with her uncle, wobbling a little but determined not to fall behind.

“Slow down, Uncle!” she giggled.

“Keep going, you’re doing great!” he encouraged.

Soon, they reached the garden. Rows of green plants stretched out under the sunlight, their leaves gently swaying in the wind. Zika jumped off her bike and ran forward. “Wow! Look at all the beans!”

Her uncle handed her a small basket. “Remember, pick the long, fresh ones,” he said.

Zika carefully searched through the plants, her tiny hands gently pulling the green beans from the vines. “I found one!” she shouted proudly.

“Good job!” Uncle smiled.

They worked side by side, filling their baskets while chatting and laughing. Sometimes Zika picked beans that were too small or too big, but her uncle patiently showed her how to choose the best ones. “It’s okay to make mistakes,” he said. “That’s how we learn.”

After a while, they sat down under a shady tree to rest. Zika wiped her forehead and looked at their full baskets. “We did it!” she said happily.

Uncle nodded. “And we’ll make something delicious with these later.”

Before heading home, Zika took one last look at the garden. The trip wasn’t just about picking beans—it was about spending time together, learning new things, and having fun along the way.

As they rode their bikes back, Zika felt proud and joyful. The wind rushed past her as she smiled wide. “Uncle, can we come again tomorrow?”

He laughed. “Of course, little one.”

And just like that, a simple trip to the garden became one of Zika’s happiest adventures.
