It was a peaceful morning when baby monkey Zika noticed something unusual happening near the house. Dad was carefully carrying a tiny puppy wrapped in a soft towel while Bear, the friendly dog from next door, followed closely behind with worried eyes. The little puppy looked weak and sleepy, making Zika immediately feel concerned.
Dad gently explained that Bear’s puppy needed extra care for the day because its mother was tired after searching for food since early morning. Without hesitation, Zika quickly offered to help. Even though he was still young and playful, Zika wanted to show that he could be responsible too.
The first task was preparing a warm place for the puppy to rest. Zika gathered soft blankets and arranged them neatly inside a small basket beside the window where sunlight could gently warm the puppy. Dad smiled proudly while watching Zika work so carefully. Puppy Kun also sat nearby quietly, as if understanding the importance of the situation.
After that, Dad taught Zika how to feed the little puppy using a small bottle of warm milk. At first, Zika was nervous because the puppy was so tiny and fragile. His small hands shook slightly while holding the bottle. But with Dad’s guidance, he slowly became more confident. The puppy happily drank the milk while resting comfortably in Zika’s arms.
Throughout the day, Zika stayed close to the puppy and checked on it many times. Whenever the puppy cried softly, Zika gently patted its head and whispered comforting sounds. He even shared some of his favorite toys beside the basket to keep the puppy company.
Later in the afternoon, the puppy finally became more active and playful. It started wagging its tail and slowly walked around the room. Seeing this made Zika incredibly happy. Dad praised him for being patient, caring, and responsible throughout the whole day.
When Bear returned to pick up the puppy in the evening, she seemed very grateful and calm. The tiny puppy looked healthy, warm, and full of energy again. Zika proudly waved goodbye while the puppy barked happily back at him.
That day became a special memory for Zika because he learned that helping others, even in small ways, can bring great happiness and strengthen the bond between family and friends.
