Zika woke up that morning feeling completely normal, never expecting that something wonderful was about to happen. The little monkey stretched lazily on his soft blanket while the warm sunlight entered through the window. Outside, birds were singing happily, and the fresh morning breeze made the day feel peaceful and beautiful.
After breakfast, Zika followed his mother into the yard to help water the flowers. Even though he was small, Zika loved helping with little chores around the house. He carefully carried a tiny watering can while humming happily to himself.
Suddenly, a familiar voice called from outside the gate.
“Zika! I have something special for you!”
It was Ms. Niko, their kind neighbor who always treated Zika with love and care. She walked toward them carrying a beautiful box wrapped in colorful paper and tied with a bright ribbon.
Zika’s eyes became wide with excitement.
“For me?” he asked while pointing at himself in surprise.
Ms. Niko smiled warmly and nodded. She explained that she had been preparing the gift for several days because she wanted to reward Zika for always being helpful and kind to everyone around him.
The little monkey could barely contain his excitement. He quickly sat down on the grass and carefully opened the box while his mother and Ms. Niko watched with big smiles.
Inside the box was the most beautiful little backpack Zika had ever seen. It had tiny banana patterns, soft straps, and even a small front pocket shaped like a monkey face. Along with the backpack, Ms. Niko also included some delicious snacks, colorful pencils, and a cute photo frame with a picture of Zika and his family.
Zika became so emotional that he hugged the backpack tightly against his chest.
“I love it so much!” he shouted joyfully while jumping around excitedly.
His happiness filled the entire yard with laughter. Zika immediately put the backpack on and proudly walked in circles, showing everyone how handsome he looked. Even his mother could not stop smiling as she watched him.
Ms. Niko felt touched seeing Zika so happy over such a thoughtful gift. To Zika, it was not just a backpack — it was a symbol of love, kindness, and precious friendship.
That special day became one of Zika’s happiest memories, and he promised himself he would treasure Ms. Niko’s gift forever.
